Composer in Residence
Magnus Hylander has studied tuba at Malmö Academy of Music. He worked as a tuba player between 1992-1998 in the brass quintet "BrassaNova". He also played Eb tuba in Göteborg Brass Band. He has composed and arranged music for various ensembles, but mainly for brass. Some of his works are recorded by Göteborg Brassband, BrassaNova, Band of the Malmö Fire Brigade, Borås Brassband and the Salvation Army Band, Lidköping.
Magnus music has also been used in competitions.
In addition to the Swedish Championships, his works has been played in Grenland Festival, Siddis Brass, Norwegian Championships and Silkeblaes, Denmark.
In 2010 Flesland Musikklag, Smörås Skolemusikk and Windcorp Brassband premiered test pieces by Magnus.

Composer in ResidenceDavid Glänneskog was born i Jönköping in 1971. He started playing the trumpet at very early age and quickly gained a reputation as a skillful and talanted musician. David is a professioanl trumpeter educated at the School of Music and Drama in Gothenburg. David frequently writes arrangements and compositions for brassband, wind band, big bands etc. By profession David is working in the wind ensemble Gothenburg Wind Orchestra. David is the principal cornet of Windcorp Brass Band.
